Look at this chillin’ cat! As you can tell, Orin enjoys neck scratches; those paws say it all! However, he says “no thank you” to kisses on his head. When he first came to his foster home, Orin had an injured leg that is now healed. His next challenge was being diagnosed with diabetes. He is learning how to handle this however, he can be quite a “meower” when he is hungry and a bit territorial when it comes to his food. Despite these issues, Orin’s foster says he is a funny, affectionate, sweet, loving cat who is eager to learn and has impeccable litter box manners. You may have to remind Orin with a firm “no” if jumping on the counter or table is against your house rules!
Orin’s favorite play toys are little catnip mice that he plays with throughout the day. He seems to especially enjoy playing a few hours after he eats. Orin loves to be in the same room with his humans because he likes attention and may be happiest in a home as an only or almost only pet! He really likes to sit close to his fosters and sometimes he will climb into an empty lap. At night, he likes for you to make room for him on your bed.
Orin is a “ginger gem”. Bring him home and let him shine; he will brighten your days and nights.
