Ginger, a precious Chihuahua mix, was found in Baytown running along the feeder road with her brother and best buddy Fred. With no collar, tag, or microchip to be found, Ginger came to FFL to find her forever home. Ginger and her brother Fred are so closely bonded that is it vital that they be adopted together.

Doggie Disposition: Ginger is friendly, shy at times, likes to please, hyper/energetic, enthusiastic, reserved at times, obedient, calm, and trainable. Ginger likes all of the adults and strangers she has met, as well as grooming and car rides. She is not bothered by loud noises, thunderstorms, or going to strange places. Ginger enjoys play with toys, sitting or snuggling in your lap, and cuddling with her brother. Ginger gets anxious if she cannot see/find her brother Fred. They’ve been through a lot together.

Early Doghood Education: Ginger is working on house and crate training and leash training. Still a puppy, she likes to pull on the leash and jump on people, so Ginger is spending time learning her dog skills. Ginger knows the command come, and is working to learn sit. She knows her name and what it means when you say treat.

Ginger loves her brother Fred as much as she loves food, so she is motivated to learn by receiving treats to reward her efforts. You can continue this training process until Ginger and Fred have completed their education. This diminutive duo will be your constant companions and entrée into the world of small dog aficionados! They are at the perfect age to enter your life!
