Belle was found crossing a busy street near the ship channel with her mother, Anna. After initially being taken to Animal Control, both were sprung from that prison and put into the Friends For Life adoption program. They have their very own Facebook page at if you would like to get to know them better before you meet Anna and Belle. Although they came into the shelter together, they can be adopted separately.
Personality: Belle is friendly, somewhat suspicious, likes to please, and enthusiastic. Belle likes other dogs, her crate, children, adults, strangers, cats – you name it, Belle likes it! Like a typical puppy, Belle is very enthusiastic and ready to play until she gets tired, welcoming nap time! Belle loves her 70 lb. foster brother Tokyo, and splits her time between him and her mother.
Training: Belle is crate trained and semi-house trained. She may sometimes jumps up on people in all her excitement. Belle is working at learning the dog skills you will want her to have. Belle has not displayed any destructive habits! She knows the command kennel, for when it is time to go into her kennel. Belle is a smart dog and will keep learning!
Belle is an all-around great puppy! She is a sweetheart that is very good with young children. Belle will be happy with anyone that will love her and give her a good life! Please plan to meet Belle, but feel free to see what she has been up to lately on her Facebook page in the meantime.
