When we lost our 2 cats of 15 and 18 years, it took us 2 years to adopt new kittens.... Strolling into Petsmart.... I wanted to adopt two but Connie and Dr. Jill talked me into three..... Triple the pleasure I guess....

Here's an update on my three wonderful adoptees who are now 1-1/2 years old.... Happy, fat, loved and have the run of the house!!!!
Left to right -- Mimi, Sumo and LingLing...

NEWS FLASH: Vicky sent an update on 1/29/05 saying that "The trio will be 6 years old, happy, content, and well fed. We are so happy to have them as part of our family. Thanks." FFL says - " Thank YOU, Vicky!"

Hi! This is Shelly M and I was writing to let Diane know that "Columbus" is doing great in his new home. It took only two days and he began to feel right at home with us and our extremely playful other cat. The two kitties are great buddies and play all day and all night! They're really fun to watch as they run from room to room and play together. You were right about how friendly and affectionate Columbus is. He purrs as soon as you pet him and just loves attention. He has never been aggressive with us at all. (I have to admit I was worried about that after seeing him at Petsmart! He was obviously just scared.) My husband and I are very happy with him and our kitty "Nitschke" is so happy to finally have a friend.

Oh, and Columbus is fascinated with our dog, who we let in at night. He isn't frightened of her, he likes to just sit and look at her. It's really cute. Thanks again for such a wonderful pet/friend and please feel free to call at any time about him.

Merlin has adopted us.
Better take his picture off the website. He owns this house now. Favorite places - sleeping on my lap - sofa, sleeping on my feet - bed, sleeping on my husband when I'm at work. It had to be a very special friend to move into our home after our kitty died. Merlin fits the bill perfectly. We do have a friendly argument over his name. Gael (my husband) calls him Buddy, but his name tag still says Merlin.

The dog is gone now. We found a home for her with a couple whose old dog died. We are cat people. They are dog people. All things work out in the end, don't they.
