Peanut Butter Pattie is a sweet treat in her mom’s life.

PBP's road to happiness wasn't without its fair share of speed bumps. A neonatal kitten without a mother, Miss PBP joined the FFL family as one of our bottle babies requiring around-the-clock care. Once she was old enough, PBP was adopted by a family she thought would love her forever. That is, until they returned her... Then another family took her home, only to end up returning her as well. Although we had no idea why PBP was struggling to find the purrrfect family, we were absolutely determined to give this little girl the happily ever after she deserves.

After her first two adoption attempts, PBP got sick – so sick that she almost lost her eyes. But thanks to Dr. Trevino and our amazing Wellness Dept., PBP’s eyes healed with only some damage in one eye. Yet again, PBP went up for adoption, and STILL no one picked her. It was just mind boggling...

Every day, she'd visit her former bottle foster at the shelter and make a face that said, “Why don’t you take me home? I’m your kitten. Remember me?” And her previous foster mom realized it was meant to be (because really, who could say no to that face?!).
